Grand Sea Shades Goa

Calm location, stunning scenery, friendly service, all simply flawless

Writing a review for the Grand Sea Shades Goa is challenging because I have some criticisms, but overall we had a great experience. It really depends on what matters most to you and your perspective. We stayed in room 008, which had a beautiful view of the sea and palm trees from the porch. At first, the mattress was old and springy, but they quickly replaced it with a firm, comfortable one—just be sure to avoid the older mattresses. The AC worked well, and there was also a fan. A kettle was available for boiling water for coffee or tea; they don’t provide tea bags, but when I asked, they gave me some. The room was cleaned every two or three days, with two new water bottles provided each time. The WiFi was unreliable at first, not working half the time, but it was eventually fixed. The location is excellent, situated on the southern part of Palolem beach and only a five-minute walk to the main beach area. Right next to Grand Sea Shades is a fantastic restaurant perched high with amazing views and delicious food. Lastly, I want to thank Sujita, the manager, who was wonderful and did everything possible to enhance our stay. I would definitely return.

Terrible experience and don't be fooled by the photos they show. It's a complete waste of money and time. The service is awful. The rooms are sketchy and there's no parking, only walking space.

I found my stay at this resort to be rather unsatisfactory. The property's maintenance requires significant attention, particularly regarding cleanliness and the condition of the rooms. Although the location might be favorable, the overall experience does not match the cost. I wish the management would work on making improvements.
