Hotel Aamar Digha

Our stay and tour experience was ruined completely from very checkin. Management believes in fleecing tourists as much money as they can from puffed up restaurant bills to charging rs 600 for extra person and not providing mattress. AVOID THIS HOTEL for good experience in Digha. Restaurant food is also not upto the mark with very thick rice in thali, watery dal and restaurant manager adverse to customer feedback

Nice hotel. I stayed for 3 consecutive days on 3rd floor. Rooms are quiet good. Bathrooms are clean enough. Geyser service is not satisfactory. It only operates on request. Staffs are also co-operative. Restaurant are clean. Foods are also eatable. Specially Breakfast system are marvelous.

Overall experience is good, a little bit disappointed with the room service as they don't clean washroom properly and didn't change the bedsheets during my 4 nights stay. Food quality is good, staff's behaviour good. During booking add complimentary breakfast to avoid extra charges. The location of the hotel is very good, nearby beach, nearby jahajbari, nearby market, nearby taxi stand also.

The room was average, but there was no balcony, which was disappointing for a stay in Digha.’ During our stay, the staff kept forcing us to have lunch at the hotel restaurant, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional.’ Eventually, we decided to order dinner from the hotel restaurant.The order was placed at 9:30 PM and we were told it would be served by 10:15 PM.’ However, the food was served after 11:00 PM. Despite calling multiple times, we were only told repeatedly that it would take more time.’ We had clearly informed at the time of ordering that we would need extra plates, but when the food was delivered, the staff member behaved very rudely when reminded about it.’ The quality of the food was very poor and not worth the wait or the price.’ Overall, if you are staying at this hotel, it is better to avoid ordering food from their restaurant.’’??
