Hotel Anurag Katra

My family and I stayed here for two days during our first visit to Katra. We were a group of five, and overall, our experience was mixed.The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is very close to the main Katra market, within walking distance of Trikuta Bhawan and Yatra Parchi Counter No. 2. The railway station is only about 10 minutes away, and autos are easily available nearby. For location alone, I would give it 5 stars.The service was decent, and the staff was responsive and helpful whenever needed.Now coming to the disappointing part’the rooms. While the rooms were spacious and offered a superb view, their condition was not satisfactory, especially the washroom. It was in very poor condition and honestly looked more like a public washroom. There were numerous cockroaches and a persistent foul smell. The taps, bucket, and mug were old and poorly maintained. The furniture in the room was also dusty and dirty.The property has great potential because of its excellent location and spacious rooms, but it seriously needs better cleanliness and maintenance, particularly in the washrooms.

Although spacious and with a great view, their condition was poor, especially the washroom, which looked more like a public restroom. There were many cockroaches and a strong bad smell. The taps, bucket, and mug were old and not well maintained. The furniture was dusty and dirty. The property has great potential due to its location and room size but needs much better cleanliness and upkeep, especially in the bathrooms.

Terrible experience; the room we reserved online was not given to us. After arguing, we received a different room that had no water, delayed lighting, a bad smell, and some rooms lacked water supply.

My stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences I've had. The rooms were filthy and did not resemble the photos shown on sites like Make My Trip or Agoda. The staff were very disrespectful and unhelpful, especially the manager, Mr. Sharma. Additionally, the hotel lacks adequate security measures.

On website they flashed extremely premium photos of room and based on that I have booked Hotel Anurag, Katra, but once I reached there, I found hotel was not at all maintained. Rooms are smelling and seepage is all over and furniture is in worst condition, dirty, torned.Another experience is customer of another room disturbed me at 3:30 am, continue knocking, bell and no camera, no one is bothered to maintain security and quality of Hotel.I would not visit again in future and not even going to recommend anyone.Now the question comes, can we believe on AGODA webside where photos misguides and cheats customer for their trust on website. I though it would be a relaxing stay, but it was pathetic stay there. So, please be careful while selecting hotel.
