Firstly there are no lifts. you have to climb the stairs. I booked Superior King Room and what i got was a normal deluxe room. Reception explained that Superior King Room = Deluxe Rooms in their terms. There were no Wardrobes, not enough Water and no accessories. The breakfast in Grand Heritage restaurant was also pathetic. Not value for money.
Very disappointing stay. The rooms were not clean and the overall maintenance was poor. There is no lift, and the stairs are quite steep, making it very difficult and inconvenient for elderly people. Definitely not recommended for families or senior citizens.
The food is excellent, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Badami caves. The staff are courteous, and I had a pleasant stay. It's an ideal place for a family stay.
