Absolutely pathetic experience at Hampi International Hotel. We reached around 12:30 AM after a long and exhausting drive from Bangalore, only to be treated with zero empathy or basic hospitality.The receptionist, Srikanth, was extremely arrogant, rude, and unhelpful. While booking through Agoda, I mistakenly added only one guest instead of two. The shocking part is that the room tariff remains exactly the same for one or two people, yet he demanded an extra 1000 just for the second person.Even the Agoda customer care executive tried explaining and convincing him, but he remained adamant and refused to let us check in unless we paid. Imagine making tired travelers stand at reception in the middle of the night over something so unreasonable, when we were only going to stay for barely 5 hours before leaving early in the morning.This hotel completely lacks humanity, professionalism, and customer service. Staff behavior matters more than fancy rooms, and unfortunately this place failed miserably. Definitely not recommended.
I was on business trip, had a long journey so wanted some peace and rest but suddenly at 8:00 a.m. above my room drilling starts and I am pretty sure that drilling sounds came till the ground floor, my room was on 3rd floor. I called the reception, they they sending staff to see from where sound is coming and after 2-3 times calling them, that sound stopped after 30 minutes. But, after 30mins 9 o'clock they call me again sir can we start the drilling? I said sir within 30 minutes I will come down and checking out no problem. But Within 15 minutes the drilling started again after complaining about the same. During the checkout. The staff on the reception was so rude and i overhead them saying that before checking in any customer please tell them of the drilling time so that means drilling will happen if a customer checks in or not. That doesn't matter to them. So very very bad service
