Hotel Priyadarshini Classic

The rooms were roomy, but the power panel covers in the bathroom were loose. There was no divider between the bath area and the washbasin, so the entire bathroom got wet and messy. They didn't provide napkins or any tea and coffee starters, and one of the cups was broken. When I asked for a napkin, the reception initially said they'd send an extra towel, but later the attendant came to the room and said they wouldn't provide it.

The location is convenient, with the bus stand within walking distance along with various shops and banks nearby. Rooms on the second floor are fairly spacious and clean. Some rooms had air conditioning issues; a few were repaired, but others remained faulty. The front desk staff's attitude was not very welcoming to customers. The Naivedyam restaurant offers good vegetarian food, and the tea and coffee are notably good. The property includes a lawn and some attractive flowering plants.

Though the hotel is older, the neatness of the rooms and the view from the balcony of 4th floor is next level. The rooms are clean and higenic. The linens are of good quality. The staff is very well trained and always ready to assist you when needed. Good experience.

The biggest plus point is it's location. It's just in the centre of the main location between the railway station and the bus stand. I was upset because I expected and imagined a lot. Though the rooms are clean, it is not equipped with a basic hot water kettle and they give when asked only. Several amenities like newspaper etc one has to request. The lift is making a jarring noise whenever closing. And it didn't work for one day. They mentioned dental kit but not there in room. Then the restaurant people takes a huge time to arrive at your table. And for billing too they take a long time and not suitable for people who wants to step out visiting places instead of waiting in the restaurant. Food quality is good but the servers were wearing stinking dress and one wanted to run away. But again food is good.

We stayed 2 days, was very good feeling, room was good & Staff very cooperative, would like to stay again when opportunity arises.Thanks and regards,Shivakumar.
