Disappointing Stay

I stayed here last night and was very disappointed, especially for a place charging over ₹2500 per night and claiming to be 4-star. The room cleanliness was poor: the bed sheets had stains and hairs, the duvet and cover were old and stained, and pillows seemed never changed. This is unacceptable at any price, let alone this rate. We told reception, and while they promised to fix it, only the bed sheet was changed and the dirty one left in the room. Housekeeping admitted he didn't know how to change a duvet cover, so I had to do it myself after he gave me a replacement. He also said they only change it if it's heavily dirty. Basic amenities were missing: no tissue box, toilet roll, dental or shaving kit, or hand soap. Charging ₹2500+ per night should include these essentials. On a positive note, the restaurant staff were courteous. Management, please realize a 4-star rating means more than the building; it requires cleanliness, good linen, and guest care. Don't just focus on money—invest in hygiene. I can't see how this place qualifies as 4-star now.
