HOTEL MADHUBAN

My experience at Madhuban Hotel, Haridwar was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. For a hotel of this standard, the level of service and basic hospitality was extremely disappointing.When we entered the room, it was completely stinking of moisture, which made the room uncomfortable from the very beginning. To make matters worse, there were no tissues in the room, no dental kit, and the intercom was not working. For every small requirement, we had to physically go downstairs to seek help because there was no way to contact the hotel staff from the room.The most disturbing incident was when we ordered towels. The housekeeping staff member entered our room directly without even knocking or waiting for permission. This is a serious breach of basic guest privacy and is completely unacceptable in any hotel.Since there were no tissues provided in the room, we had to use the towels for basic purposes. There were some minor stains on one of the towels, and instead of understanding the situation or handling it professionally, the hotel staff demanded ’500 as a penalty and even asked us to take the stained towel back with us. This was absolutely shocking and humiliating.A hotel should provide basic amenities, maintain hygiene, respect guest privacy and handle complaints professionally. Unfortunately, Madhuban failed on all these basic expectations.No tissues. No dental kit. Non-functional intercom. Moisture/stinking room. Poor housekeeping etiquette. Privacy concerns. And an unreasonable ’500 charge over a towel.This was not hospitality at all. It was an extremely disappointing and embarrassing experience.Definitely not a hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting Haridwar. The management seriously needs to look into the quality of rooms, housekeeping practices, staff behaviour and overall guest service.

Stopped here for a rest. Clean restroom. Tasty lassi and sandwiches. Friendly staff.

A bit expensive but overall a pleasant experience; however, the service is quite poor, especially with food orders which take 1-2 hours to arrive.

Service was very poor, staff behavior was really bad, they even threatened to call the police, and the management and food quality were also very bad.

Nice place to stay, with a pleasant ghat nearby within walking distance.
