Hotel Maurya

The location is good. They have a wide variety of rooms at very reasonable prices. Also car parking is available. Staff behaviour is very nice. Many malls and restaurants are nearby. Rooms could have been cleaner though.

Hotel Maurya is a decent hotel and restaurant located in the main town of Dibrugarh, close to various significant locations in the town such as the Tibetan Market, Vishal Mega Mart, V2, etc.Both AC and Non-AC rooms are available here for various price ranges. Amenities such as Parking lot and free Wi-Fi service is provided by the hotel itself. During our stay here, we were allocated two non-ac rooms, priced at Rs 1400 per day. As for the concerned price, the rooms were pretty decent and somewhat more than what we expected. The rooms and the overall vibe of the place felt kinda luxurious, which happens to be a plus point. Each room is decently sized, has two chairs, two single beds ( I'm pretty sure there are other rooms with more beds too ), a wardrobe and a TV. The bathrooms are also big in size, and are pretty clean too. Most AC rooms also have a bathtub. One of the rooms which we booked, also had one too. However, I was disappointed by the fact that the flushes of the toilets didn't function properly. Also the hand shower and the taps just above the bathtub probably had a leak in them, hence the water came out from different directions. But the shower was good, and the water was clean too.As for the service, the staff was kinda irresponsive at times. Adding to which, we observed that sometimes, none of their staff seemed to be at the counter office. They also closed the shutter of the main entrance exactly at 10 pm, despite saying that they are open 24 hours. But the manager was quite generous, and at other times we faced no problem with room service. They even exempted the cost of water bottles which we ordered from them. The hotel also offers laundry service, which we availed on our first day, and were satisfied. There is also a restaurant along with the hotel, which has a variety of options in the menu. But the prices are very high, due to which I would not recommend having your food from there if you are looking for some affordable/budget options.Overall, it can be said that this place is a good option if you're planning for a stay in Dibrugarh town. And as for the Non-AC rooms which are affordable, there is indeed a good value of money. However there are certain things which the management should look upon and improve, so that they can provide more value for money.

The rooms were very clean and organised. Service was very prompt and requests were handled in a timely manner. Had a lovely stay. A much recommended hotel if you are travelling to Dibrugarh.
