My stay at Hotel Mount View was enjoyable. ’’ The rooms were adequate, offering a functional space without notable issues or exceptional features. Service was generally attentive, though some areas could benefit from more efficiency. The location was convenient, providing accessibility to local attractions. ’’ Overall, a decent experience. ’

Excellent location with breathtaking views.. Good Location as one can find the market nearby and at the same time peace as it is on the bank of the river..Service was spot on, especially Mr. Mohammad Yusuf, he was just a call away to serve. He was very prompt at service..Would definitely recommend for family travellers.. ’’’’

Stayed at this hotel and it was a disappointing experience. The rooms were outdated and in poor condition. The heater was broken and rarely worked, leaving us cold. Electricity outages were frequent, and the generator failed half the time. Room service was abysmal; despite repeated requests for water, they never responded or delivered. Additionally, the room service staff seemed only interested in tips, appearing at the last moment just to ask for gratuity. There was no hot water in the bathroom at any point. When we were about to check out, the staff finally showed up and were unhelpful. Overall, a very poor experience.

Beware of all 5-star reviews, most of manipulative and don't represent the truth about property.Cons:1.The rooms are in terrible condition and not even worth a penny. It looks like they haven't been renovated since they were built in the 2000s. The rooms were smelly and the window was also very dirty (the only good thing about the room)2.There was no running water in the morning, and the central water heater didn't work at all. You will likely be stuck with freezing cold water during snowy winters.3.The furniture is in bad shape; the cabinets and shelves were broken and unusable. Even the wooden flooring was damaged at the edges.4.The bed was the worst part; the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and gave me a terrible backache.5.There are no charging points near the bed. There were only two outlets under the TV (which was also broken), and one of them didn't work.6.There is no central heating or AC, just a large gas radiator that makes strange noises when turned on.7.The breakfast buffet has very limited options, and the in-house restaurant is not recommended for vegetarians at all.The only good thing is the location of the property and the view from the room.Hope it help's you if you consider this property.

The hotel itself is very nice the staff is okayish. The issue is with the quality of the rooms the huge radiator kept vibrating throughout and the window glass wasn't clean. They need to renovate the rooms immediately. The bed fabric was old and there wasnt much space in the room. The view was fantastic though. They just need to make space in the room and improve the interiors. I was staying in one of the Heritage rooms.
