HOTEL SHREESH NEIL

Rooms provided is great. Location is nearby the jetty which is very easy to access. Receptionists were friendly . The only improvement required is the kitchen people. I did not get option other than puri sabji, as I can't take it to I opted out the breakfast and had from outside. Rest all are satisfactory

The rooms are excellent. The location is close to the jetty, making it very convenient to reach. The reception staff were welcoming. The only area for improvement is the kitchen staff. Since I couldn't eat puri sabji and had no other breakfast options, I chose to skip breakfast and eat elsewhere. Everything else was satisfactory.

I had a pretty disappointing experience at Hotel Shreesh in Neil Island.The only positives are that the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and the hotel is very close to the jetty, which is convenient.Unfortunately, everything else was below expectations. The food quality was poor and extremely overpriced for what you get. It definitely wasn't worth the money.The rooms themselves are decent, but the bedsheets and towels had stains and an unpleasant smell, which wasn't hygienic. The bathroom was just okay. Another surprise was that the hotel doesn't provide complimentary drinking water’you have to buy bottled water separately.The hotel also advertises free Wi-Fi, but it was practically unusable. The connection disconnected every 1’2 minutes, making it impossible to browse or use it properly.The staff were also disappointing. They weren't very friendly and often promised one thing but delivered something else. They didn't even help with our luggage, so we had to carry our bags to the room ourselves.The worst part of our stay was an incident with an auto driver arranged from the front of the hotel. He dropped us at Natural Bridge No. 1 and told us he would pick us up after an hour. Since mobile network is poor on Neil Island, he gave us his phone number and told us to call him from someone else's phone if needed. After an hour, we tried calling him several times, but his phone was unreachable. We waited for another hour, completely stranded, and eventually had to hire another tourist driver to take us back to the hotel, paying extra for the ride.Just two minutes after we returned to our room, the reception called to say that the original auto driver had arrived. When I went outside, I explained that we had been left stranded because he never showed up on time. Instead of apologizing, the driver started arguing and demanded a ’150 reservation fee. I told him that he hadn't picked us up as promised and had caused us unnecessary trouble, so I didn't think it was fair to pay the full amount. Even after I offered ’100 as a goodwill gesture, he continued demanding the full payment.What disappointed me the most was that this entire argument happened right in front of the hotel staff, and they stayed silent. They didn't try to help, mediate, or support us as guests in any way.Overall, while the rooms and location are decent, the poor food, overpriced services, unreliable Wi-Fi, lack of basic amenities, and unhelpful staff made this a very disappointing stay. I wouldn't choose this hotel again.
