The property looks nice on the outside, but the overall experience was very disappointing. There is no proper lunch service or on-site restaurant, which is surprising for a place at this price. Guests have to depend on Zomato, and the wait time is often over an hour, which is very inconvenient. I booked the suite through Agoda because it said there was a bathtub, which was a key reason for choosing this hotel. However, upon arrival, there was no bathtub. When I asked, the staff first denied it was ever mentioned, then said it had been removed. This misleading information and lack of honesty is unacceptable. Due to this false representation and how it was handled, I expect a partial refund. Please call me to resolve this. Paying ₹17,000 for this experience feels totally unjustified, especially since the staff said the room would cost ₹10,000 if booked directly, which makes it even more frustrating. To top it off, the breakfast was very poor quality — we even found hair in the neer dosa, which is completely unacceptable. Overall, the service, quality, and basic standards do not align with the price or the expectations from the listing. This was a very overpriced and badly managed stay.

Stayed in Malpe during the rainy season and this place felt almost unreal. The balcony view, cool sea breeze, sound of rain, and tranquil atmosphere made it one of the best stays in Udupi. The room was very clean, smelled fresh as soon as we entered, and everything seemed premium and well cared for. Waking up to the Arabian Sea with cloudy skies and rain created a unique vibe. The highlight was sitting on the balcony with tea, watching the waves and heavy rain — it felt like a scene from a movie. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms spotless, beds very comfortable, and the nighttime ambiance was enchanting. It's an ideal spot if you want a quiet, luxurious beach stay away from noise. Malpe during monsoon is truly underrated. Fewer crowds, lovely weather, greenery all around, and that cozy coastal feeling that's rare nowadays. This is one of those hotels where you really don't want to check out. Highly recommended if you're visiting Udupi/Malpe and want: * the cleanest rooms * a peaceful luxury atmosphere * stunning balcony views * rain and beach vibes * a relaxing staycation mood Definitely worth it. I'd return just for the balcony during rainy weather.
