Kakaku The Guest House

Red Flag - All guest woken up by police at 1 am . Staff did not call owner. When we talked to owner he played victim card saying he was not aware as staff didnt call him .Even though i texted him at 1 am. He stays in the vicinity.His and his staff had no concern for guest. Which leads me to believe this has happened before.Avoid this place.Red flag 2 : Inadequately staffed. I checkwd in at arnd 8 there was 1-2 guys ho were doing everything right from telling you where to squeeze ur car on the side of the road to carrying ur bags to checking you in. Out of the two only one seemed capable, it was very difficult to folow the other or form him to understand the guestRed flag 3 Owners Attitude : The literature and rooms have a number printed which the guest can call any time if they have any issues . Assuming it was the receptions number i called as i needed the wifi oassword , the person who picked up ( aka the owner ) told me very curtly to get it from his staff instead of askin his staff to come to room and give it to me. When the police incident happened he didnt even have the basic courtsey to be at his hotel and apologize to the guest. I had to call him and force him to come and talk to usRed flag overcharged : The rate card says Rs 50 for masala tea . I ordered 2 and was initially asked to pay Rs 120 then when i questioned the attendant said its ok if paid Rs112.No bills were providedRed flag Overpriced food: Simple veg non veg main course are Rs 650 - 800. I dont even pay that much at marriot. Red Flag Inacurate amenities : The hotel literature says my room should come with a mini bar and fridge but there was no such thing. Other Red Flag- No parking available. You park on the side of a busy roadSummary : please avoid this place at all cost

They are not prepared to accept online bookings, and both the attendant and owner asked for additional payment. The extra trip I made to get here was not worth it. Given the long drive, the tiring journey, leaving the highway to reach this town, and the frustration of being wrongly charged, I felt like filing a police complaint.

The hotel was tidy, compact, and very well kept. The rooms were clean, cozy, and equipped with all we required. The staff were kind and accommodating, which made our stay enjoyable. It's an excellent option for anyone seeking a clean and budget-friendly place to stay with a toddler.

Wonderful location with a pure aesthetic. I stayed here with my wife and our pet dog while traveling from Bhopal to Bengaluru. There were no problems with our pet. Shushant Jaiswal ji is an excellent host, clearly showing his affection for his parents. The ladies and Aayan were very helpful. This is truly a fantastic place to stay.

Great place to stay. The washroom and linen were clean. I will definitely stay with Kakaku again.
