Machaan Plantation Resort Sakleshpur

Our stay at Machaan Resort was fantastic, and we truly enjoyed the entire experience. The resort offers a warm, tranquil, and comfortable atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax and connect with nature. It is very accommodating for children, with the night walk and morning nature walk being standout activities that the kids found thrilling and memorable. The food was tasty, offering a nice selection and excellent flavors. The staff were very polite, friendly, and supportive throughout our visit, enhancing our overall experience. We appreciated the stunning natural environment, the calm ambiance, and how seamlessly the resort integrates with its surroundings. Everything seemed well organized, yet it still felt like an escape from everyday life. However, some improvements are needed; the indoor games room requires upkeep due to water leakage, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, providing slippers in the rooms would be beneficial, especially since the rooms can get chilly. In summary, Machaan is an excellent choice for families seeking a peaceful nature retreat with children. We left with wonderful memories and look forward to returning!

The rooms had a strong and unusual damp odor, so I requested a room spray, but it didn't improve the smell. However, the atmosphere, location, food, and service were excellent, and the staff was very helpful with the buggy services around the property.

This place offers a stunning view and is very well kept. We enjoyed everything about it from the moment we arrived, including the reception, courtyards, glass house, and restaurant. Since we visited during the monsoon season in late July, the weather was pleasant with constant rain, so we couldn't take the nature walk or join any sessions or bonfires. However, our stay was enjoyable as we simply relaxed and appreciated the natural surroundings without participating in activities. The food was average and could be improved. The staff were friendly, helpful, and good. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but did not have a valley view, so we mostly stayed inside to enjoy the plantation during the monsoons. Otherwise, you can easily explore the area, sit by the pool, and enjoy your meals with a great view.

Well maintained property. It has 16 rooms. Service level is very Good. Staff are well behaved, helpful and pleasant. Rooms are facing the hills. Movement of Clouds is mesmerizing. Air is clean- no pollution. Telephone connectivity is patchy, but reasonably good wifi. Food is very tasty. Breakfast, though the spread is limited, vegetarian option is a feast. Enjoyed 2 days of stay. Recommend to any one who desires complete rest.
