Tapovana The Fern Sakleshpur, Series by Marriott

The food was excellent. The staff, including Manas and Jayanti from the restaurant, were very kind and wonderful. We enjoyed the ambiance and the whole place feels like one of the top properties in Skaleshpura. Everything is kept in perfect condition.

Located less than 5 hours from Bengaluru, this place is a convenient weekend retreat. The property is well kept, with roomy and clean accommodations. It offers nice amenities like an infinity pool and indoor games. The food served is tasty as well. They also organize a nature walk that is well planned and makes waking up early worthwhile. The road leading to the property is somewhat challenging, especially the final 1 to 1.5 km which is not paved. The staff are friendly and provide excellent hospitality.

Our stay here was fantastic. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Our room was spotless, contemporary, and very cozy. The restaurant served tasty food with a wide variety of choices. The entire property is lovely and peaceful. I strongly suggest this resort to everyone!😀

We stayed at Tapovana The Fern Sakleshpur, Series by Marriott, hoping for the usual Marriott experience and standards. Sadly, the hotel did not meet those expectations. Despite the Marriott name, the property and guest experience felt more like a pre-existing hotel that had simply taken on the Marriott brand without enhancing service, facilities, or overall quality. We paid about 1.5 times the normal rate using Marriott points, but breakfast was not included, which was disappointing given the high redemption value. The food and beverage options were limited, and the dinner buffet lacked appealing choices, so we ended up ordering à la carte. Overall, if you expect a typical Marriott experience, this property will likely disappoint. The branding sets a quality expectation that was not fulfilled, so I suggest adjusting your expectations before booking.

Our experience at this place was wonderful. We reserved the 2 Room private pool villa along with our parents. The spot, the property, upkeep, and especially the staff — everyone was outstanding, from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant. I want to give a special shoutout to Ms Ragini and her reception team, as well as Ms Jayanti and her restaurant team (I forgot some other names) for making our stay pleasant.
