Recently renovated with very nice rooms. The owner is also very helpful, guiding us on places to visit and explore. You can book an auto from the station, and the owner assists throughout. It was a great experience, and I would recommend it to everyone.

Our stay at Mahesh Guest House was fantastic. The location is ideal — just a brief walk from Virupaksha Temple and Hampi Bazaar, making it easy to get around on foot. The room was tidy, cozy, and well-kept, featuring good air-conditioning, a private bathroom, and dependable WiFi. What really stood out was Mr. Mahesh's hospitality. He was supportive and always ready to help. Mahesh assisted us with planning our itinerary and arranged transportation, which made exploring Hampi much simpler. The place is simple and tranquil with a homely vibe, excellent value, and a safe, friendly environment. We felt right at home here. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hampi. We will definitely return!

We feel cheated! Although the location is convenient, the owner overcharged us and assigned a different room than agreed upon, then began charging extra for everything. We stayed for two days, the AC was faulty, and the beds were poor quality. Overall, we were very dissatisfied with our stay.

We were a group of four and booked a triple-sharing room for ₹2,100 with an extra mattress, and were informed that AC would cost an additional ₹300. Upon arrival, the owner assigned us a different quadruple room due to a local problem, which we did not request. Later, he asked for ₹1,000 for AC instead of the ₹300 initially stated, and after paying, he also charged ₹800 extra for the room upgrade we never agreed to. The rooms are renovated and look nice, but the bathroom was dirty, there were no hangers, and basic amenities were missing. The AC was also turned off directly from outside. Overall, we felt deceived and overcharged. We hoped for a pleasant stay but ended up having a very poor experience. Future guests should verify all charges clearly before checking in to avoid similar issues.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. The owners or attendants overcharge you during checkout. The room lacked hangers, the bathroom had no handle, rooms were unclean, the A/C was broken, and the beds were uncomfortable. Everything in the room was poor quality, even though we booked their largest room. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
