Mayfair Purnea

Yesterday, I went there with my family for dinner, expecting a good experience because of the 5-star name. However, I was disappointed with both the quality and quantity of the food and the service. The staff member named Babita was kind, but the service was slow and dull, similar to a regular restaurant or hotel. There were mosquitoes biting near the corner seat where I sat, and when I asked for a solution, the staff did not respond. I also requested to change seats, but was told the other seats were reserved, although I noticed they were not. I could have moved if allowed. Food was brought to the table uncovered, which was unhygienic, and the staff handled the food with bare hands without gloves. There were only five tissue napkins on the table; when I asked for more, the staff told me to use the cloth already on the table. In conclusion, I strongly do not recommend this place. Please consider other restaurants instead of this disappointing Mayfair hotel. I suggest the owner consider renaming the hotel to better match its actual standards. The entrance lacked sufficient lighting, with tree leaves casting shadows from the gate to the restaurant's circle. I gave a star only because it was mandatory, but otherwise, I would not rate it at all. Anyone visiting once would likely not return. I hope the owner, possibly named Sh Ritesh ji, will address these shortcomings. Thank you.

Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. Highlights included the early morning walk along the nature trail, visiting the greenhouse, and relaxing in the small area by the pond. We will certainly return.

Ms Babita is excellent.

Service and hospitality were very disappointing. I never expected such poor hospitality from Mayfair. The valet attendant was not available for us. We waited 48 minutes for just 3 naan, which was a very poor experience in such a reputed place.
