As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and welcomed throughout my stay. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and has an amazing social vibe that's perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with local recommendations. I arrived alone but left with great memories and new friends. Highly recommend for anyone traveling solo!

A group of us senior citizens booked Hotel Moustache, Daman after being attracted by the online photos and paid in full, expecting a pleasant stay. Sadly, the actual experience was far from the advertisements. The rooms were run-down, unclean, and unsanitary, and the check-in process involved a long wait in a dirty area with a very bad smell. When we asked for a refund to move elsewhere, it was denied multiple times despite the misleading ads. We strongly advise families and senior citizens to check carefully before booking, as our stay was stressful and very disappointing.

We reserved 3 private rooms at Moustache Daman for July 4th and 5th, 2026, relying on their online portal. The pictures depicted appealing, clean rooms with well-kept interiors and exteriors. However, the actual situation was completely different. The property was badly maintained and did not match the online photos at all. The rooms and shared spaces seemed dirty and unhygienic. The overall atmosphere felt suspicious and unreliable compared to the online portrayal. Since we paid in full upfront, we couldn't cancel upon arrival without losing all our money. We felt deceived by the listing. My suggestion: Don't trust the online images alone. Check the place in person or verify before booking, or be ready for a very different experience.

In our case, the reality was very different from what was shown, causing a very disappointing and stressful holiday.

The stay was great. The rooms and washrooms were tidy. The staff was consistently helpful and cooperative. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Enjoyed the Khidki cafe as well. Overall, a well-run place with reasonable prices. Definitely planning to book again soon.
