I really don't know how to review this place. It was eerie and quiet and I never quite felt comfortable there as a solo traveller. Don't remember feeling that anywhere before. Everything was fine otherwise.

We stayed here for several nights to do a few tiger safaris and this was the BEST idea we had during our travels in India. This felt like being special guests in a palace and it was so neat getting to have all our meals included in their dining room. The food here was incredibly good and they encouraged us to try new dishes which were also super delicious. Bonus points for being the only place in all of India that we visited to have Diet Coke available to drink!The biggest thing we noticed was the service we received from start to finish was so personable and we encountered no issues with English. (We stayed in the Badal Mahal room and even though the staff let us know it can get very warm due to the sunlight it was perfectly cool with such a beautiful balcony - try to get this room when you stay here!)Note: We had no elevator but staff will help with luggage up the stairs - and the drive up to the hotel is through a bumpy dirt path just in case you’re unsure as you arrive here!

Looks Like a Palace, Functions Like a MessThe property is undeniably beautiful from the outside ’ great architecture and ambiance. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much the only thing you’re paying for, because the experience itself is nowhere close to the price they charge.The place is poorly maintained and visibly dirty, with lizards casually roaming around and even beehives on the property. It feels like the management relies entirely on the looks of the property while ignoring basic upkeep.The staff service was equally disappointing. When we asked for an iron ’ a very basic request ’ we were casually told they have only one iron in the entire hotel and it was already in another room. No timeline, no solution, no accountability. It almost felt like guests are expected to adjust to the hotel’s limitations rather than the other way around.And then comes the food ’ easily the worst part of the stay. The taste, quality and variety were extremely poor. It genuinely felt like an afterthought, not something you’d expect from a property that markets itself as a luxury destination near Ranthambore.Overall, this place is massively overpriced and absolutely not worth the money.You’re essentially paying for a pretty building while compromising on hygiene, service, and comfort.Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Every corner of the property exudes a regal charm, creating an atmosphere that is both tranquil and majestic. The rooms were impeccably maintained, offering a harmonious blend of heritage aesthetics and modern comfort.What truly elevated the experience was how perfectly the venue complemented the wedding festivities. The vibrant ceremonies felt even more special against such a picturesque and culturally rich backdrop. The staff was courteous, attentive, and ensured that everything was managed seamlessly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the celebrations.Overall, it was a peaceful and memorable stay that left a lasting impression. Nahargarh Ranthambore is not just a place to stay’it is an experience that revives the splendor of royal India while creating unforgettable memories.
