Very Disappointing Experience

I reserved this resort for my wedding and was shown only 2-3 rooms during booking, which were fine and well-kept. However, after booking, we inspected all the rooms and immediately regretted our choice. Most rooms were in terrible condition, and we informed management to maintain basic standards, which they promised. The bride and I arrived two days before the wedding to check arrangements, but the rooms still had seepage and bad odors. I had to personally inspect all rooms and instruct management to clean them before guests arrived, but it was embarrassing to see construction and cleaning ongoing as guests came. The catering during the wedding was very poor; many guests were denied snacks both days due to food shortages during high tea. Dinner service ended at 10:30 PM, leaving some guests without dinner. When my cousins raised this with management, they were treated rudely. Room service was often delayed or refused. The staff were understaffed and lacked basic customer service skills, needing training. Even the security guard argued with me because he wouldn't let my parents' cab enter to drop them off, despite my 80+ year old grandmother being inside. I had to call management to resolve this. After all events, on checkout day, the manager didn't come to settle bills. They unilaterally booked a DJ for two nights without our consent, initially claiming the DJ was included in the package (decorator's), but then charged us extra. I would not recommend this place for weddings or stays. The management must improve their staff handling.
