We stayed at SK International Inn, Kolar on 01.08.2026 with a group of friends, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from the moment we arrived.The check-in process was extremely frustrating. We had to wait for nearly 30 minutes because the staff couldn't provide a working room key card. They kept bringing different key cards and trying them multiple times before finally giving us one that worked.The room lacked even the most basic amenities. There were no drinking glasses, and when we requested them, the staff simply replied that they do not provide glasses, which was shocking for a hotel.To make matters worse, the geyser in our room was not working, so we couldn't get hot water. The toilet flush (commode) was also not functioning properly, making our stay even more uncomfortable.The poor maintenance and lack of basic facilities made us lose confidence in the hotel's overall standards, especially regarding food hygiene and quality. Because of this, we decided not to eat at the hotel and instead drove about 5 km to another restaurant for our meals. Thankfully, we found a very good place to eat, and that turned out to be the best part of our trip.The room service was also extremely slow. Every request took 30’40 minutes to receive a response.The only positive aspect of this hotel is its peaceful location. Other than that, the service, maintenance, hospitality, and overall guest experience were far below expectations.I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Save your money and choose a better place to stay.

The service was unacceptable despite the property being decent. They did not provide basic items such as drinking glasses in the room, and when we asked for them, the staff called back to deny our request following their manager's instructions. The customer care was shockingly poor. I will not stay here again nor suggest it to anyone. We chose not to eat there and drove 5 km to another restaurant, which was the best part of our trip. Room service was very slow, with every request taking 30–40 minutes to be addressed. The only good thing about the hotel was its quiet location. Otherwise, the service, maintenance, hospitality, and overall experience were well below what we expected. I wouldn't recommend this hotel; better to save your money and pick a different place.
