Shikara Beach Resort

Their rooms need lot of maintaining, pest cleaning and room service variety.The staff was very friendly and helpful but pests, mosquitoes and wooden shelves and bathroom doors and fittings with termites was scary. Their breakfast cafe is on 1st floor, that can be brought down to ground floor for guests who have trouble with stairs.Location is awsm but need lot of maintainance.Also, the pool is shared with other properties with no pool bed so be considered for that!

Comfortable stay, walking distance from Mobor beach, staff is very supportive and breakfast is also good.

We had booked the superior room. The actual room didn't look anything like the pictures. We raised it with the hotel manager. They then moved us to suite. Could work on breakfast as who serves chinese noodles in breakfast? Music played while having breakfast was bollywood heart break songs that is usually played in Mumbai autos.While the hotel staff cleaned out room but we didn't request for house keeping. They opened our room without us requesting or us being there which was breach of our privacy. Overall the rooms were good and close to good restaurants

We had the pleasure of staying at Shikara Beach Resort, where we booked a spacious service apartment that boasted a wealth of amenities. The apartment featured a kitchen with cutlery, a luxurious terrace bathtub overlooking the sea, a generous living area, and a big size balcony ideal for hanging clothes and enjoying the fresh air. While the room was impressive, the complimentary breakfast left room for enhancement. The resort is connected to private villas and offers access to the serene Sol River located behind the property. A minor drawback was the absence of parking; a resident from one of the villas frequently approached guests regarding parking concerns, despite the hotel management advising guests to park on the street adjacent to the reception area. Nevertheless, this was a small inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable experience. The Cavelossim beach is within a short walking distance, and excellent dining options, such as Fisherman’s Wharf, Robin's Ark & Mike's Place are nearby. We also appreciated the proximity to Luisa by the Sea shopping complex for some window shopping. Overall, our stay was delightful, and we would recommend this resort for its amenities and prime location.

Location is good. Cavoleissim beach is just next. However, pathetic room was given to us. There was some infestation on the wooden slabs. There was bad odour of humidity inside the room. The linen was just below expectations. Poorest of all. However, there staff is friendly and helpful. I feel these days tourists get cheated when they find out that 4 star rated hotel is in such a bad condition in reality. I am sorry to say but the management needs to work really hard to maintain the standards of atleast a hygienic living rooms to be given to tourists. I actually had spent only one night in the hotel and it was supposed to be a family suite where as I was given a 1 room apartment with infestation, poorest quality linen and overall worst experience. My only gratitude is to staff who came by to change my quilt cover which was initially a stained quilt kept between two bedsheets.
