Shiva Oasis Resort

One of the most disappointing resort experiences ever. The place is filled with ridiculous and unnecessary rules ’ no drinks, no music, no dancing, and absolutely no fun atmosphere. It feels more like an ashram or a hostel with restrictions than a luxury resort. The most shocking part was that even near the swimming pool, they don’t allow you to drink juices or shakes because of their absurd policies. Staff keeps interrupting guests instead of letting them relax and enjoy their vacation. If you are looking for a party place, fun vibes, or even a normal relaxing holiday experience, avoid this place completely.

’’’’’’ Great Stay for Groups, Excellent Greenery & Food’I first stayed at Shiva Oasis Resort back in 2015 for a couple of weeks during a solo business trip, and it’s wonderful to see that the property remains so well-maintained.’Ambiance: The large, lush green lawns create a beautiful, refreshing, and natural vibe.’Food & Drink: The food is consistently good. I highly recommend pairing a refreshing Kingfisher beer with their delicious Chilli Chicken. Pro-tip: Service can take a moment, so if you are in a hurry, it is better to order well in advance. Otherwise, it's a great excuse to sit back and relax.’Solo vs. Group Travel: While the property can feel a bit quiet or slow if you are traveling solo, it is absolutely perfect for groups who can fully utilize the expansive space and vibe.’Highly recommended for group getaways or a relaxed business stay!

We were at the property for 2 days in May 2026 and booked 3-4 rooms. There A/c’s are not working in some of the rooms. Room service responded quickly and try to fix the cooling issue. The whole fixing process takes 1-2 hours. We also requested room change and it was processed smoothly.Due to extreme hot weather, we got little overwhelmed because children are crying and they didn’t get any comfortable place for almost 1-2 hours. Overall, it becomes really tiring.Cleanliness: Rooms were full of red ants and they invaded into our suitcases. We called the reception and they told that they will do laksham rekha chalk but no one showed up. We cleaned our rooms in the evening ourselves. There were lizards on the walls as well near the lift area and one of the lizards infiltrated into one of our rooms. In the morning, when they do room clean up they didn’t change used glasses. We ordered RO water from the Room Service and one of the room got a bottle where you can clearly some green algae is floating into the water. After that we ordered only bottle water like Bisleri.Food: Food was really delicious and freshly prepared. Breakfast buffet had ample options. We ordered lunch and dinner as well at the property and every time it was tasty, hot and freshly prepared.Staff: Staff was really helpful, hard working, humble and caring.Neighbourhood: It was nice and has several shops and restaurants.Pool and garden area: They have a nice pool area for kids and adults, and a big garden. The whole property is not fully baby stroller friendly at some areas you need to lift the stroller. But still better than other resorts on this point.Suggestion: It would be nice if they have any indoor kids play area for summer time.Overall experience was Okayish.
