Property is good but and all services are good, but the service is little delay, like if you order water from your room than staff will take time to get you water or tea as we experienced the same in water and tea case

Misleading Beach Proximity

My stay at Soul Vacation was pleasant. The resort has a cozy vibe. Food at the restaurant is great and reasonable. But service is sometimes too slow. Spa is good too.The resort is cleaned continuously but can't say the same regarding the pool. Staff is mostly polite except for 1 young lady at the reception who was not warm at all.The biggest issue is that we had chosen this property for its proximity to the beach as it claimed to be only 170 MTRS away from the beach. However, the property has no direct access to beach and one has to exit the property on the road which is at the reverse side of the beach side and then either walk right side and the beach will be 500-600 mtrs or take left side and the beach will be 300-350 mtrs but here there are no lights and lots of stray dogs on this rd and not recommended for after dark. So I will call it misinformation.

Overpriced Beach Hotel

Got mislead by the proximity from the beach and claim of being a luxury resort. Natural comparison was with some of the beach front 5 star properties because price point was high. It's a small property with a small pool as an activity in the center. Parking is on the road. You have to walk to the beach from the main road and market area and deal with all the hawkers and its about half a km walk. Beach was clean but crowded. Some vegetarian restaurants, other food options and shops around which was good but we didn't try. Breakfast area was small and the spread was also very small ..about 10 items. Only 2 staff members .. one was the manager who was not doing much and one girl was toiling doing everything - refilling the pans, cleaning the tables etc. But she was doing with a poise and smile so 5 stars to her. Some crowd was very loud and hogging limited tables even when they are done and seeing that other customers are waiting for the table. Can't teach that to people. Rooms though dated were clean, spacious and had basics. Bathroom was also spacious and clean but had an erratic hot shower which will suddenly become very hot, very difficult to adjust and keep steady at the right temperature.Overall it seemed quite overpriced to us, and we don't plan to stay there for a family vacation.
