The stay was so good. We enjoyed a lot with our kids. Food was amazing. Only problem is with the road to approach the resort. But it was very memorable stay.

We stayed at Southern Panorama Indriya resort, munnar for two nights, and our stay was really wonderful. Actually, this was exactly the kind of stay I was looking for. We were searching for a peaceful and nice place to stay away from Pondicherry, and we were so happy to find this resort.Everything was just as I had expected. The two days were very peaceful and relaxing. The food was good, the ambience was beautiful, and the climate was so pleasant. The resort is surrounded by lots of greenery, which made the whole experience even more refreshing.My kids also enjoyed the stay a lot. There were plenty of activities for them, and they had a great time. The food was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and overall, everything was really well taken care of.We were very happy with our two-day stay and truly enjoyed every moment. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful and memorable experience.

Terrible Experience ’ Never Again!Our family of 40 was very excited about this trip and had high expectations from the resort. Unfortunately, the experience started going downhill the moment we arrived.We reached around 2:30 PM, after the 2:00 PM check-in time, but some rooms were still not ready. The welcome tea (though it was cold when served) and laddu were a nice gesture, but the receptionist's attitude towards our concerns was rude and disappointing, especially considering the amount we had paid.The pathways to the cottages were slippery due to mould, which was risky for children and elderly guests. The forest ambience itself was beautiful and refreshing, but the cottages were not maintained to the expected standard. Some rooms had a bad smell, and despite repeated requests, the cleaning was only superficial. Even after cleaning, the floors remained sticky.The pool was too small for a large group, and the water was salty, sour and had leaves floating and on low floor in it. The spa area also looked poorly maintained.We were promised a guided tour of the property, but nobody showed up despite us following up with the staff.The dinner was another major disappointment. The food was overpriced and the quality, especially the porotta, was extremely poor. Since the property is located away from town, we had little choice but to arrange meals with the resort itself. Even then, the food was neither reasonably priced nor worth the amount paid.Housekeeping was also poor. Some bedsheets and pillow covers had stains. We requested an additional sheet, but the staff member never returned. Calls to reception later went unanswered.Breakfast was just average ’ nothing special for a resort charging this much.OverallThe property itself is beautiful and clearly has great potential. It is unfortunate that poor staff behaviour, housekeeping, maintenance and food quality have seriously affected the experience.The staff, especially those dealing directly with guests, need better training in hospitality, communication, housekeeping and handling customer concerns. The property has the potential to be excellent, but the management needs to seriously improve the guest experience.

ReviewHad a terrible stay here recently. Despite the high price, the overall quality of the stay was far below expectations.The property is located in a beautiful setting and the resort has a good concept and theme. Unfortunately, poor maintenance has significantly affected the experience. The rooms had an unpleasant smell, and we had to request cleaning multiple times.Another major issue is accessibility. You have to climb steep stairs and pathways to reach the accommodations, which can be quite difficult for elderly and physically not fit guests. This is not just a one-time effort either’you need to go up and down these steep paths several times a day for meals, the swimming pool, health club, or even to reach the reception area, which makes the stay quite exhausting.There are also no restaurants or decent food options nearby, leaving guests with very limited choices. The food available at the property was relatively poor in quality considering the high prices charged.The breakfast was decent, but the selection was limited and not enough to justify the overall cost of the stay. The swimming pool is also very small and may not comfortably accommodate guests when the resort is busy.Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially considering the price. The property definitely has potential because of its location, concept and theme, but it needs much better maintenance, improved food options, a more practical approach to accessibility, and better value for money.With proper maintenance and improvements, this could be a much better resort.Lesson learned: don’t choose your stay based only on photographs ’ they can be misleading and don’t always reflect the actual condition or experience.

We stayed at Indriya Resort two days ago with three families, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.None of our three rooms had proper Wi-Fi access. Some rooms didn’t even have hot water. The rooms were not clean or well maintained, and they felt old and outdated. It seemed like the property had not been properly maintained for a long time.The service was also very poor. Considering the high room rates, we expected much better facilities and customer service. This resort may have been excellent years ago, but its current condition is far below expectations.The restaurant is very expensive. While the complimentary breakfast was acceptable, the food and beverages we ordered afterward were disappointing. Even the tea was of very poor quality.Overall, we did not feel we received value for the money we spent. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this resort to anyone. If you’re planning to spend this much money, I suggest looking for a better alternative.
