Sree Veda Wellness Resort

The rooms were infested with lizards, leeches, frogs, and more. It was revolting to see lizard droppings everywhere, even on the mattress. The AC wasn't working, and when we reported it, we found out rats might have chewed the wires, which was then fixed. The breakfast was good, but considering the price, these problems should have been addressed. During our stay, the resort manager also asked us to vacate a room for some other guest. Despite reporting all these issues, they didn't seem to care.

I stayed at Sree Veda Wellness Resort for a 10-day wellness package and had a very positive experience overall. Dr. Mohammed was very kind and supportive throughout my visit. The therapists were professional and delivered treatments with great attention. Ram also personally looked after me, ensuring my comfort during the stay. The calm environment, wellness therapies, and attentive staff made the experience very relaxing and uplifting. Many thanks to the whole Sree Veda team for their excellent care. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful wellness and Ayurveda retreat in Auroville.

I booked a one-week wellness package. About the Ayurvedic treatment: Dr. Mohammed was very caring and checked my blood pressure daily, showing concern for my health. However, there was no thorough explanation of the treatments. Ms. Anjena, who gave the treatments, provided a wonderful massage. The package was said to include two treatments daily, morning and afternoon, but the afternoon sessions were often just a simple foot massage or sometimes no treatment at all. There were no structured programs, which I hope will be improved. About the hotel facilities: The hotel was about 8km from town in a quiet area with lots of greenery, good for rest. But the bathroom's air conditioner drain pipe ran right in front of the toilet, almost hitting my head, and despite my request to fix it, nothing was done. The treatment rooms and yoga studio were not cleaned. The facilities were definitely not luxurious. About the staff: They were very friendly and kind. Overall service: The meals were vegetarian, simple but tasty. One time, dinner was forgotten. Staff training is needed. After staying a week, there were several issues, but I could relax in a calm setting. Still, I felt the service was not fully satisfactory for a foreign guest like me.

Affordable and effective professional Ayurvedic massages and treatments.

The Ayurveda massage was excellent. The therapist from Kerala performed it with great professionalism. The herbal aroma was delightful. I appreciated their genuine hospitality and non-commercial attitude. The environment is ideal, though it could use a bit more upkeep while maintaining its natural feel.
