Sri Venkateshwara Residency

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The only positive aspect of our stay was that the food was tasty.Unfortunately, apart from that, our experience was disappointing. The hotel is located very far from the city, and during our stay we were the only guests at the property, which felt quite unsafe and uncomfortable. There were only 2’3 staff members present, adding to the feeling of isolation.What concerned us the most was the room security. The room had only a standard lever-handle lock and there was no additional inside safety latch or tower bolt. This meant that anyone with a key could easily unlock and enter the room from outside, which made us feel unsafe and uneasy throughout our stay.The cleanliness standards were also not satisfactory, as the bed sheets and pillow covers had visible stains. Basic amenities such as a dental kit and an electric kettle were not provided in the room. Additionally, there were 3’4 power cuts during the night, which further affected our comfort.Overall, while the food was good, the lack of cleanliness, basic amenities, proper room security, and frequent power outages made our stay disappointing.

The property fell completely short on basic hygiene, amenities, and overall safety standards.’Hygiene & Amenities: The room lacked basic amenities like a dental kit or an electric kettle. Worse, the bedsheets were noticeably unclean, and the bathroom tiles were incredibly slippery, posing a genuine safety hazard.’Lack of Security: As the only guests staying at the property during our visit, the lack of crowd already felt uneasy. This feeling was compounded by the fact that the room doors did not have a tower bolt from the inside, leaving us feeling highly unsafe throughout the night.’Unprofessional Conduct: When we arrived at the front desk to check in, the hotel owner and another individual were actively drinking alcohol right at the counter. While they did not misbehave with us directly, drinking at the reception desk in front of arriving guests is highly unethical and completely unprofessional.’Between the poor maintenance, lack of basic room security, and the unprofessional environment at check-in, my wife and I felt unsafe and unwelcome. We cannot recommend this place to families or couples looking for a secure and clean stay.

I stayed at room no 120 -From check-in to checkout, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The manager Rakesh personally ensured our stay was memorable, handling a special request with grace and genuine hospitality. Rooms and bathrooms are neat ,clean & specious .They also have in house restaurant .Higly recommended!

Awesome experience! The hotel atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. The food was fresh, delicious and served with care. What impressed us most was the kindness and caring nature of the staff. They made our stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay

I had a wonderful stay at Sri Venkateshwara Residency in Madikeri. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing stay. The location is very convenient and close to many tourist attractions in Coorg. The peaceful atmosphere makes the stay even more enjoyable !!The staff members are very polite, friendly, and always ready to help guests. Their service is quick and professional. The hospitality provided by the team is truly appreciated. The rooms are neat and provide a comfortable environment for families and travelers.Overall, it was a very pleasant and satisfying experience staying here. I would highly recommend Sri Venkateshwara Residency to anyone visiting Madikeri. Looking forward to visiting again!!!!
