Awful experience. Nothing worked in our room. A good ambience and we'll meaning staff count for nothing if the facilities are terrible. No hot water for a bath; every time the generator switched off and on, the TV - which didn't work - would switch on loudly on an ad that was the only thing that played on loop. We had to ask for basics: towels, kettle, coffee, tea, milk and sugar sachets ... Basically everything. Do not stay there.
I recently stayed here with my family (including THREE kids under 10) in 2 room booked for approximately 9000. Unfortunately, the experience was highly disappointing across the board.Insane Extra Bed Charges: At 10 PM, the staff demanded an extra 3,000 for an extra bed, citing "hotel policy." Charging almost 70% of the room rent just for a bed is ridiculous. After arguing, they finally reduced it to 1,500, but it was an unnecessary hassle late at night.Misleading "Complimentary" Breakfast: During check-in, we were promised a buffet featuring 5 types of dosas and 5 types of eggs. In reality, for a "heritage hotel," they didn't even have basic items like eggs, bread, butter, jam, or cornflakes. Food tasted just okay not great for an HERITAGE RESORT. Dirty Rooms & Bathrooms: The cleanliness standards are unacceptably low. Both the room and the bathroom were dirty and lacked proper maintenance.Broken Amenities & Poor Service:No Hot Water: The hot water in our bathroom was completely non-functional.No TV Channels: The TV wasn't working. When I complained, room service came, took a photo of the set-top box, and promised to recharge it. They never followed up, and the TV never worked.Unsafe Swimming Pool: The pool was visibly unclean and poorly maintained. I strongly recommend keeping kids away from it.Conclusion: I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families with children. The management needs to seriously improve their honesty, cleanliness, and customer service.
