ABI``'S RESIDENCY

This is very near to the Brihadeeswarar Temple or Peruvudaiyar Temple or Big Temple. From Railway station it takes 10-15 minutes in a CAB or Auto. Bike and car parking can be done only on the road. The rooms are good, since this is relatively a new property. This property houses a lift also. If you strike a deal around 1.5K per room for two members, then this is the best deal. All rooms are having AC & Geyser facility. There is no restaurant attached, hence this is no free breakfast hotel. Do not goto any restaurants that are recommended by this hotel guys. You can walk and find out yourself. My personal point is the road side shops or small restaurants that run on wood fire has got better tasting food than any decent hotel.

Good hotel near Thanjavur Big temple.. for hotel to temple it is walkable distance.. when we visited there were some construction or renovation in progress so some building materials in parking space.. it's open and very limited Parking in front of the hotel..

We had hosted a part of our marriage group in this hotel in the period of November 21st to 24th 2023. Pros: -Location was very convenient opposite Periya Koil -Booking of rooms was convenient Cons: -One of our guests complained that there was fungus in the room and change of rooms was not possible because of unavailability of rooms. Yet, that room was charged fully in the bill initially. However, we got it settled after speaking to the management.

this hotel is akin to the railway station side cheap lodges by the looks and dimensions of the room.it has modern amenities like AC gyeser swipe access door locks , but the room doesn't even have a place to keep the bags.2 small seperate single unit beds seperated by 2 feet is the room size. the matress are new but are rock hard they didn't even remove the plastic sheets over them.pillows are like mountain high.washbasin is somehow in the same room as bathroom doesn't have space for it.4 car park space are available but filled with construction materials and hence had to park on the road by the side of a garbage dump.i reached by 10 pm with packed food and just didn't know where to sit n eat.had to exit early morning by 7 so didn't make noise and compromised and the bed condition made it a very costly compromise

Mainly this hotel will be near to both bus station & big temple. Room was neat & clean that's what i like most. I suggest hotel management to maintain same neatness all the time.
