Very crowded on weekends, and while the food tastes good, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Based on the hype, I expected a much better experience. In my opinion, this place is a bit overrated.

I am travelling from 1982 and traveled more then 3000.Domestic and international. 1st time in my LIFE, I experienced the hotel management is asking the Signature to taking 2nd Room KEY CARD, as I stayed with my wife and we booked the double room.

1 Star – Extremely Disappointing StayI paid *** for one night at Hotel Imperial Palace, Rajkot expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst hotel stays I have had.• The hotel was under renovation, something that was not disclosed during booking.• At the entrance, the driver shouted at us for entering the wrong gate, despite no signage indicating entry or exit.• The room was dirty on arrival and required three reminders before someone came to clean it.• Breakfast quality was shockingly poor — no live counters, very limited items, and the so-called sautéed vegetables were only cauliflower and French beans.When questioned, the staff gave strange excuses:1. “Most people in Saurashtra are Jain so they prefer this breakfast.” Ironically, I myself am Jain and can confidently say this explanation is absurd. Other guests nearby also disagreed.2. They also cited shortage of LPG gas, which sounded unbelievable because the hotel had hosted a large wedding function of around 250 guests the previous evening and the restaurant was full the day before.When I requested to meet the manager, the receptionist behaved rudely and tried to avoid arranging the meeting. After insisting, I met Mr. Rahul (manager in charge) who refused to acknowledge any mistakes and simply said that “next time everything will be arranged.”For a hotel charging more than *** per night, this level of poor hygiene, unprofessional behavior, and terrible breakfast is unacceptable.I would strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel until their management and service standards improve significantly.

Haven't stayed in the rooms so not applicable. We were a group of 11 who went for their thali and frankly never again! My uncle had phoned ahead of time to check they will cater for a member who follows a vegan and gluten-free diet. They were so full of promises. Yes we can make rotla and mango ras which will be vegan and GF. We arrived. Firstly they couldn't sit us all together which was very disappointing. Then their waiters are clueless about dietary requirements. There was no decorum to their serving, bringing things randomly, serving half the table and disappearing. Serving the puran poli, but not the curries. Skipping the starters like pani puri completely until a member of our party requested them to bring some to our table. They made the rotla, but refused to make mango ras without milk. The curries were too spicy. The dal was full of sugar. There was no dessert really. I don't count puran poli and mango ras as dessert. The service and ambience was so chaotic. Don't promise what you can't deliver on. The manager then turns up and says it would have been better if you had come on a weekday, as it's less busy then. Well, he could have said that when we spoke to him about the dietary requirements. What an absolute joke of a place.
