Townhouse Margao Near Railway Station Formerly Hotel Tanish

I had a very disappointing stay at Townhouse Margao Near Railway Station (formerly Hotel Tanish), Madgaon.The photos displayed on the booking website appear to be heavily edited or AI-generated and do not represent the actual condition of the property. The hotel is located on the 6th floor, and the room I received was in a very poor state.The room was extremely dusty, the bed was dirty with visible stains and debris, and overall cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. There was a strong urine smell throughout the room, and the curtains were damaged and poorly maintained.Most of the amenities advertised were either missing or not functioning properly. There were no blankets, no toiletries, no working TV, the air conditioner barely worked, there was no hot water, and the washroom was dirty and unhygienic.Another major concern was security. Guests cannot lock their room from the outside because the room key has to be left at the reception whenever you go out. This made me feel uncomfortable about the safety of my belongings.When I politely raised these issues with the manager, instead of trying to resolve them, he became rude, threatened me, and told me to leave the hotel. Since it was already late at night, I had no practical option but to stay and adjust for the night.Overall, this property was completely different from what was advertised. The listing is highly misleading, the cleanliness was unacceptable, the promised amenities were not provided, and the customer service was extremely unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking this hotel and not rely solely on the photos shown online.

Room is not clean and the breakfast they provide is only poha which is not good

They took booking but when we reached, they were telling that there is only one room available and this was not like booking photos and it's bessin was broken, room was soo unclean. They hadn’t room, but they took the booking and then they were blaming us and Ixigo also that why we didn’t contact them when we were booking. It was soo disappointed. Then they were telling for shifting and shifted us in a hotel, that was 3 kilometers far. In new hotel, they didn’t give us drinking water, we had to ask for towel and soap.
