TRAVELLER NEST

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this homestay with two families. Amir and his family were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and hospitable, making us feel right at home from the start. The best part of our visit was the tasty homemade food. On our first day, we ate at hotels in Nubra, but after trying the home-cooked meals here, we decided to have all our meals at the homestay for the remaining three days. The food was genuine, fresh, affordable, and definitely worth it. I strongly suggest everyone staying here to try the homemade dishes. I also really valued Amir's kindness and honesty. I accidentally left my jacket behind when we checked out, and he went above and beyond to have it delivered to a hotel near Leh the next day. That thoughtful act meant a lot to us. Thanks to Amir and his family for making our stay so unforgettable. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Nubra Valley.

Rooms were clean and lovely, and the owner was very kind and welcoming. I will definitely keep recommending this place! As a backpacker, pictures can sometimes be misleading, but this place was wonderful. The owner took us to see Diskit beyond the usual tourist spots, and I really appreciate that!

투르툭으로 가는 버스를 몰라서 무작정 가다가 우연히 디스킷이라는 마을에 머물게 된 숙소입니다. 덕분에 잊지 못할 추억이 생겼어요. 누브라밸리 디스킷에서 머물 곳을 찾는다면 강력히 추천합니다. 고수를 잘 못 먹어 인도 음식을 선호하지 않는데, 저녁에 나온 뚝바와 카레는 제가 먹어본 티베트 음식과 인도 요리 중 가장 입맛에 맞았습니다. 건강한 재료와 은은한 고수 향이 정말 맛있었어요. 호스트 Ansar와 비밀 장소로 피크닉을 간 경험은 지난 5년간 여행 중 최고였습니다! 반지의 제왕에 나오는 것 같은 시냇가에서 수영하고 군것질하며 놀았어요. 다음에는 바비큐를 하기로 했습니다! 숙소로 돌아오는 길에는 Ansar 가족이 키우는 양을 보러 갔는데 너무 귀여워서 죽을 뻔했어요. 디스킷은 작은 마을이지만 Ansar와 함께 갔던 냇가와 사유지에서 양을 친 경험은 잊을 수 없습니다. 투르툭까지 가는 쉐어택시도 잡아주셔서 한국인 분들께 강력 추천합니다!
