Tree of Life Grand Oak Manor offers more than just a stay—it provides a unique experience. Located deep within the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, it’s ideal for those wanting to escape daily stress and immerse themselves in nature. Getting there is part of the journey, with an extra fee per person and vehicle for sanctuary entry, and the final 6 km of road being quite rough and needing repair. Mobile coverage is limited, internet is slow, and rooms have no TVs. However, these aspects contribute to the charm of the place. The heritage building, formerly a British officer’s summer home from the old Kumaon Regiment, is well preserved. Surrounded by grand deodar and oak trees, it radiates elegance, calm, and vintage charm. Waking up to birdsong, strolling forest trails, and enjoying the tranquil environment is truly refreshing. The property stands out for its simplicity and subtle luxury. The staff are very polite, warm, and attentive, making guests feel sincerely welcomed. The food is superb, with each meal carefully prepared and served. If you seek entertainment, fast internet, and urban conveniences, this might not suit you. But for those wanting to connect with pristine nature amid stunning forests and genuine hospitality, Tree of Life Grand Oak Manor is a memorable getaway. I would gladly visit again.

Tree of Life Grand Oak Manor is truly one of the finest places I've ever experienced! If you're looking to slow down, escape the daily noise, and enjoy calm and serenity, this spot is ideal. Surrounded by stunning forests, the whole property felt like a step back in time, full of character and charm. The best part was the absence of modern distractions, creating the perfect atmosphere I adore. It enhances the unique vibe and helps you appreciate the simplicity here. The rooms are lovely and cozy, with an overall elegant feel. Simply sitting on the grounds and soaking in the environment is a treat. Sadly, I got sick during my stay, and that's when the staff really shined. They were kind, attentive, and always ready to assist, ensuring I had hot water when needed and checking on me often. Their care made a big difference and meant a lot. The food was tasty, service top-notch, and every staff member was friendly and welcoming. I came seeking a peaceful retreat and found so much more. I left with beautiful memories and honestly, a part of my heart remains here. I already plan to return. Many thanks to the whole team for making my visit so memorable.
