The overall stay and leopard safari were wonderful. We even saw owlets on the property, so be sure to look out for them! I also noticed many birds and a python here (take care during monsoon, as the owner will guide you). The rooms and bathrooms are clean, though some insects do get in despite keeping doors closed, likely because of the surrounding forest. Their safari price is about 30% higher, but since we saw a leopard mother sitting for 8-10 minutes with one of her cubs nearby, I can't really complain. However, I felt the variety of food options was limited given the price charged at all meals.

Our time at Varwal Leopard Camp in Jawai was amazing. The place combines cozy hospitality, excellent support, and a genuine Jawai atmosphere. We are especially grateful to Puspendra Ji, the owner, for his kind hospitality and personal care during our visit. The staff were very helpful and polite, which made our stay very pleasant. The Safari Guide was outstanding, showing great knowledge of the local wildlife and area, along with skilled driving on the tough hill roads. The safari was an unforgettable experience. The food was also noteworthy, with everything tasting great, particularly the chicken made by Puspendra Ji’s mother, which was exceptional and gave a lovely homey feel to our stay. In summary, Varwal Leopard Camp is highly recommended for those wanting to enjoy the natural beauty, wildlife, warm hospitality, and true essence of Jawai. We look forward to returning.
