Voyage Alpine Abode

Visiting Sikkim for the first time, staying at Alpine Hotel truly enhanced the trip. The hotel offers outstanding service and warm hospitality. Special recognition to Aditi and Roshan for their friendly, professional assistance and readiness to help at all times. I highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were neat, clean, and furnished nicely, complemented by a lovely balcony view. The staff were humble, polite, and kind throughout the stay.

I stayed at Hotel Voyage Alpine Abode in July, and unfortunately, my experience did not justify the price paid.1. The hotel is located on the roadside, about a 10-minute drive from MG Marg, which is convenient.2. I paid around ’5,500 per night for a premium room. However, the room did not have a smart TV, and there were no sports channels available to watch the World Cup. The room view was average.3. The restaurant did not serve many of the items listed on the menu. The staff informed us that several dishes were unavailable because it was the off-season.4. The staff recommended that I try the fish. After having the meal, I developed stomach upset and a fever the following day. While I cannot say for certain that the food caused it, the timing was concerning.5. At the time of checkout, card payment was not available. The staff informed me that the payment machine was unavailable due to a bank update, so I had to use an alternative mode of payment.6. The complimentary tea kit initially included multiple flavors. When I requested a refill, instead of replacing the assortment, the staff provided only green tea bags, which was disappointing considering the room tariff.Overall, the location is decent, but the limited amenities, restricted food options, payment inconvenience, and average service made the stay feel overpriced. I hope the hotel addresses these issues to improve the guest experience.

After trying the fish recommended by staff, I suffered stomach issues and fever the next day, which was worrying though not confirmed to be from the food. At checkout, card payment was unavailable because of a bank update affecting the payment machine, so I had to pay by another method.
