WHITEHOUSE BEACH RESORT

Extremely poor experience with very dim lighting all night, no staff available, no generator, and terrible service. The entire hotel smells bad, and dogs roam the first floor at 3 AM multiple times. Truly a dreadful, red-flag hotel and service.

A nice and decent place to stay. Conveniently located nearby.

Avoid the White House Beach Resort in Alibaug if you want a peaceful vacation. My experience was a complete disaster from beginning to end. They came to my door at 10 am asking me to check out, even though the sign outside (photo attached) says checkout is at 11 am.

Don't waste your money here. I paid ₹2,500 for a standard room, and it was a complete nightmare from the moment I arrived. The price they ask is ridiculous given the terrible quality and service they offer. Basic necessities, which any hotel should provide, were completely broken: The room doors don't lock properly, posing a huge safety risk. The bathroom flush didn't work at all. The bathroom lights were completely out, so I had to use it in total darkness. Charging high rates for a room without working plumbing, lighting, or security is outright robbery. The management clearly doesn't care about guest safety or cleanliness. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs!

We stayed here during the gas cylinder problems in March 2026. The staff was limited. The facilities require upgrades. Door frames had termite damage. The bathroom lacked a commode ring. No meals were provided on the first day. The location is ideal for Nagaon beach since you can easily walk back to your room after swimming.
