Wow Farm House

This was one of the best stays in Pondicherry. The service and food were excellent. I would recommend this place for women and families.

Excellent service

Wow Farm House Auroville is truly a treasure for a calm family retreat. Our 2-night stay felt just like being at home every moment. Booking & Hospitality: The great experience began before we even arrived. The owner patiently answered all our many questions before we paid, making us feel very confident. When we had to unexpectedly change our dates for personal reasons, the owner easily adjusted them with just one phone call, without strict rules. Warm Welcome: An hour before we got there, the caretaker called to check on our trip. When we arrived, staff met us at the parking lot to help with our heavy bags. Honestly, only an aarathi was missing—we were welcomed like family. Check-in was smooth with no long forms, and we got a refreshing welcome drink of buttermilk and cold sharbat. Rooms & Cost: We booked the villa privately (₹40k for 2 nights, 5 rooms, locking the other 3). The rooms are roomy enough for three adults, with good mattresses, bathroom heaters, and a cozy, well-kept feel. The villa has a mini home theater, dining area, and washing machine. Food & Staff: The staff were very polite and went out of their way for us—they even washed and dried our clothes! The free breakfast was a tasty homestyle South Indian meal with boiled eggs and bread. For dinner, we pre-ordered chapathi with veg and non-veg gravies, which tasted like home cooking. Amenities & Location: There’s a small, well-kept swimming pool. Since we had the whole villa, it was perfect, but it might feel cramped if rooms are booked individually and the pool is shared. There’s a simple kids' play area with a swing and slide. The farmhouse is deep inside Auroville. Google Maps works well, but having a private car or bike is best. Public transport isn’t available, but Zomato, Swiggy, and Instamart deliver easily to the door. Suggestions for Management: * Air Conditioning: The AC in two rooms was weak and needs servicing. * Recreation: Adding pool toys or balls for kids, some games for adults, or a rooftop party/stag area for evening relaxation would improve the stay. This place is ideal for families and couples seeking peace, not for stags wanting wild nightlife. For a peaceful, well-hosted, flexible vacation in Pondicherry or Auroville, I highly recommend this spot. It will definitely be our top choice next time!

This was among the top stays I've had in Pondicherry. I really enjoyed the place, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. It's an ideal spot for families or couples visiting Pondicherry.

We spent a weekend at Wow Farm House, traveling from Bangalore for a 2-day stay. The place was tidy and well-maintained. Situated in Auroville, it offers easy access to various cafes and local eateries. The atmosphere at the resort is very peaceful, ideal for unwinding. A big thank you to Martin for his attentive hospitality, which made our visit very pleasant. I would highly suggest this spot for a quiet weekend retreat.
