I had an incredibly disappointing stay at Quiet Home and strongly warn other travelers against booking here. The information they provide online is highly misleading and conceals major hidden costs:• Extortionate Swimming Pool Charges: They advertise a swimming pool as a key amenity, but it is absolutely not free. They demand an extra 150 per person for just 1 hour. If you want to use the pool again later in the day, you are forced to pay another 150 per member every single time. When I questioned the reception manager about this, he was extremely rude and dismissive, claiming it was stated on Agoda. It turns out it is buried in tiny print at the very bottom of the property policies where no normal customer would ever see it.• False Beach Distance & No Direct Access: The hotel claims the beach is close by. In reality, it is roughly 1.5 km away. The property is located deep inside a residential colony with no direct gate or shortcut to the beach. You have to walk 700 meters just to exit the society gate, and then trek another 1.2 km from there just to reach the water.The reception manager has zero hospitality skills and talks to paying guests with a terrible attitude. Save your money and peace of mind—look for a better, more honest hotel in Pondicherry!
Though the website states , the building is 400 meters away from Sea - its not , its around 2 KM away from sea -( there can be some walkable short cut through the bushes I dont know )..This is a just a dry concrete building with budget amenities - just a stay nothing more - And the swimming pool is payable and we have to book time slot to use the pool. And the Break fast is a parcel food comes form some hotels ( may be their kitchen I dont know) . all I say better is staff are friendly
Everything is good, except for the water service at the resort. They only provide two bottles of water per person each day, and there are strict conditions to get more. Additionally, there is an extra charge to use the swimming pool.
