Search Trains


> 19 stations of the Kharagpur Division have been shortlisted for redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Some of these are Balasore, Shalimar, Belda, Digha, Kharagpur, Midnapur and Panskura.

> The Indian Railways is developing Vande Metro, a mini version of the country’s first indigenous semi-high-speed train, Vande Bharat Express. The Union Minister for Railways, Shri Ashiwini Vaishnaw, said that the production and design of this new metro train will be completed by December 2023.

Continuing its efforts to make the passenger experience safer and more comfortable, the national transporter shared details about a new feature. Very soon, all the toilets in train coaches will have sensors that will eventually lessen the water usage per day.
