2– The Varanasi Cantonment Railway Station has been awarded a 5-Star ‘Eat Right Station’ certification for providing high-quality, nutritious food to passengers. The certification is granted by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to railway stations that adhere to standard food storage and hygiene practices.

3– To decongest the traffic and improve operational efficiency, the Indian Railways is working on a doubling project on the Varanasi–Madhosingh–Prayagraj line. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 1293.58 crores.
