Passengers will be updated with all the important flight-related details on the digital screens and also through SMS on their respective mobile numbers. As per an official spokesperson from the Jaipur Airport, dozens of screens have been installed all over to display flight information. These screens have been strategically placed outside and inside the terminal, security area and check-in halls so that the flyers don’t miss any vital information.

Emergency-related announcements, however, will continue to be made by the staff. An automated public address system will also be deployed at the airport for the convenience of the passengers.

The authorities have been running an awareness campaign for the past few days to notify travellers of the new development so as to avoid any hassles later.

The silent airport initiative will ensure that passengers can enjoy a relaxing time while waiting for their flights without any disturbance. It will also reduce the noise inside the terminal.
