Khamma Ghani! Are you ready to experience the colours of spring with Mewar Festival of Rajasthan? Marking the advent of spring, this festival is an important part of the culture and traditions in Udaipur.

How is the festival celebrated:

The 3 day long festival includes a number of practices, followed by the locals:

> They decorate the idols of Gangaur and Isar.
> The idols are then carried in a huge procession which starts from the clock tower and ends at the beautiful Gangaur Ghat at Lake Pichola.
>  The idols are then taken on boats.

Wao! Several boats carrying the idols sail gently in the amazing lake, creating a delightful sight.

Main attraction: Cultural performances on folk music!

Did you know? The Mewar festival ends with an impressive display of fireworks.
