Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal

But then, if ghosts and spirits are your thing then this might be the place for you. The Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal is one of the most haunted areas in the capital. It is an old hunting lodge that has been abandoned for centuries. Weird noises, screams, invisible shuffling activities and unnatural gusts of wind have been reported by many who have dared to go here.

Tughlaqabad Fort

Another offbeat place in Delhi, the Tughlaqabad Fort is a ruined fort with massive ramparts. The road to the fort is sloping and green on either side, which makes the drive here all the more fun, specially if you are on a bike. The Asola Wildlife Sanctuary is also closeby, so don’t forget to check that out. Pick a nice clear day to come here with your sweetheart, put on your best sneakers and carry a picnic basket with you. Great idea for a date, eh?

Located in DLF Place, Saket, this small kiosk is all about old fashioned and handcrafted popcorns. The shop itself is very interesting. The walls depict the story of the first popcorn produced in 4700 BC in Peru and the eventual journey of popcorns to America and around the world.
