Qatar Restores Visa-on-Arrival for Indian Travellers

Are you planning a trip to Qatar soon? If yes, you should know these latest travel rules. 

The country has brought back its Visa-on-Arrival policies for Indian travellers, replacing the Hayya Card which it had introduced for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Indian citizens can now get a free visa on arrival in Qatar, valid for 30 days from the date of issuance and valid on a single trip or multiple trips.


Important things to remember:

A) You must have a passport that’s valid for at least 6 months.
B) Travellers should have a confirmed return ticket.

C) Only those hotel reservations will be accepted which are made via the ‘Discover Qatar’ website.
D) A minimum cash amount of USD 1400 or a valid credit card must be possessed (same applies for an entire family).
