The Southern Railway has released a notification inviting applications for interested specialists to empanel as ‘Honorary Visiting Specialists’ at the Railway Hospital, Perambur, Chennai.

Candidates can apply for the following disciplines —
- Haematology
- Geriatric Medicine
- Neurologist
- Nephrologist

- All interested candidates can visit the official website at https://sr.indianrailways.gov.in.
- Download the notification circular and check the requirements.
- Prepare an application and attach the necessary documents.
- Send the application in an envelope to the address mentioned in the notification.
Qualification and Experience:
Super Specialist: Minimum qualification should be a postdoctoral degree in DM/MCH or an equivalent.
Specialist: Postgraduate degree from a recognized university. Minimum 2 years of work experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the degree.
If no suitable candidates with a PG degree are available, PG Diploma holders with 3 years of experience after obtaining the diploma will be considered.
Age Limit:
- 30- 64 years, during the first engagement
- The upper age limit for continued engagement is 65 years.
Per month salary details:
Super specialist: Rs.20000–Rs.96000
Specialist: Rs.16000–Rs.78000
