Railways Cancels and Diverts Several Trains on Major Routes

The Indian Railways has announced the cancellations and diversion of train services on some routes due to security reasons and the ongoing maintenance work.

Passengers are advised to take note of the affected train schedules and make arrangements accordingly.

> Due to security reasons at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Junction of Dhanbad Division, the following train services have been cancelled today i.e. 27th January –

Train no. 13305 Dhanbad – Dehri On Sone Express 

Train no. 13306 Dehri On Sone – Dhanbad Express

Train no. 03546 Gaya – Asansol Passenger Special

Train no. 03553 Asansol – Varanasi Passenger Special

> For the construction of a road overbridge at the Magra Station, a traffic block for three hours (from 11:45 am to 2:45 pm) has been announced. As a result, the following trains are cancelled on 27th and 28th January. 

From Howrah – Trains no. 37827, 37829 and 37655.

From Memari – Train no. 37652

The following trains will be diverted for this reason –

Train no. 13028 Dn Azimganj – Howrah Express (JCO 27th and 28th January) will be diverted via Dankuni from Barddhaman with a stoppage at Kamarkundu Station. 

Train no. 19607 Up Kolkata – Madar Express (JCO 27th January) will be diverted via Dankuni – Barddhaman from DumDum with stoppage at Dakshineswar, Dankuni and Kamarkundu stations. 

The Eastern Railway has also decided to short terminate, short originate, reschedule and control a few train services for the construction work.

Train no. 18201 Durg – Nautawa Express will remain cancelled on 28th January.

Train no. 18202 Nautawa – Durg Express will remain cancelled on 28th and 30th January.
