Railways Cancels and Diverts Trains on Major Routes

Attention, train travellers!

The Indian Railways has decided to cancel and divert multiple trains. It has also announced changes in terminal and origin station for various services.

Passengers are requested to make note of the affected train schedules and plan their travel accordingly.

> Due to non-interlocking work between Kashti and Belwandi stations of Solapur Division, several trains have been cancelled, diverted and rescheduled.

> Due to engineering work at the Varanasi Station of Northern Railway, the following trains have been cancelled –

Train no. 14213 Varanasi–Bahraich Express will remain cancelled till 14th November. 

Train no. 14214 Bahraich–Varanasi Express will remain cancelled from 5th October to 15th November.

Here is the list of diverted services –

Train no. 12670 Chhapra–Chennai Central Express will be diverted via Varanasi–Banaras–Madhosingh–Prayagraj on 5th, 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th, 26th and 31st October and 2nd, 7th and 9th November. 

Train no. 12669 Chennai Central–Chhapra Express will be diverted via Prayagraj–Madhosingh–Banaras–Varanasi on 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th, 29th and 31st October and 5th, 7th and 12th November. 

Train no. 12165 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Gorakhpur Express will be diverted via Prayagraj–Madhosingh–Banaras–Varanasi on 6th, 7th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 17th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 27th, 28th and 31st October and 3rd, 4th, 7th, 10th and 11th November. 

Train no. 12166 Gorakhpur–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will be diverted via Varanasi–Banaras–Madhosingh–Prayagraj on 7th, 8th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 18th, 21st, 22nd, 25th, 28th and 29th October and 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th, 11th and 12th November. 

> The South Western Railway has changed the terminal and origin station of 10 trains to SMVT Bengaluru.
