Railways Cancels, Diverts Over 20 Trains

Attention, train travellers!

Due to maintenance work going on in multiple divisions, the Indian Railways announced the cancellation and diversion of several trains that connect major cities across the country.

> The Eastern Railway notified about the diversion of one service. 

Train no. 12942 Asansol–Bhavnagar Terminus Parasnath Express will be diverted on 23rd March via Idgah Agra Jn.–Achhnera Jn.–Bharatpur Jn.–Bayana Jn.

> The South Western Railway released a list of six trains that will be cancelled in the month of April. 

Here is the complete list:  


> The North Central Railway announced the diversion and cancellation of five services due to non-interlocking work in the zone.

  • Train no. 19607 Kolkata–Madar Express will be diverted on 23rd March. 
  • Train no. 18009 Santragachi–Ajmer Weekly Express will be diverted on 24th March. 
  • Train no. 19414 Kolkata–Ahmedabad Weekly Express will be diverted on 25th March. 
  • Train no. 22167 Singrauli–Hazrat Nizamuddin Express will be cancelled on 26th March. 
  • Train no. 22168 Hazrat Nizamuddin–Singrauli Express will be cancelled on 27th March.
