Railways Extends Multiple Trains on Popular Routes

Keeping the growing passenger demand in mind, multiple zones of the Indian Railways have decided to extend the number of trips of many trains. These extensions will provide greater convenience to rail travellers in the coming days. Scroll down to know more.

> The Central Railway tweeted about extending four services that connect Mumbai with Manmad and Balharshah. 

  • Train nos. 02101/02102 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Manmad–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Superfast Special will be operational until 31st March. 
  • Train no. 01127 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Balharshah Special will be operational until 28th March. 
  • Train no. 01128 Balharshah–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will be operational until 29th March. 

> The Central Railway will also increase the number of trips of four other trains that run between Mumbai and Kazipet. 

  • Train no. 07195 Kazipet–Dadar Special will run until 22nd February. 
  • Train no. 07196 Dadar–Kazipet Special will run until 23rd February.  
  • Train no. 07197 Kazipet–Dadar Special will run until 25th February.  
  • Train no. 07198 Dadar–Kazipet Special will run until 26th February.

> In view of the passenger rush around Makar Sankranti, the North Eastern Railway has decided to extend the following four trains: 

  • Train no. 05025 Gorakhpur–Barhni Special will run until 18th January. 
  • Train no. 05026 Barhni–Gorakhpur Special will run on 18th and 19th January. 
  • Train no. 05016 Nautanwa–Gorakhpur Special will run until 18th January. 
  • Train no. 05015 Gorakhpur–Nautanwa Special will run on 18th and 19th January.

> The Northeast Frontier Railway also confirmed the extension of a pair of trains.
