Railways Launches Diwali Special Trains

With Diwali just around the corner, multiple zones of the Indian Railways have announced that many new trains will be run to accommodate the extra rush. If you’re planning to travel soon, you can book your seats in these trains via ixigo. For now, scroll down to know more.

> The North Eastern Railway will be running two special services between Barauni and Jammu. 

Train no. 04646 Jammu Tawi–Barauni Puja Special will depart from its source at 5:45 AM, and will reach Barauni at 11:45 AM the next day. It will be operational until 10th November. 

Train no. 04645 Barauni–Jammu Tawi Puja Special will depart from its source at 4 PM, and will reach Jammu Tawi at 8:45 PM the next day. It will be operational until 11th November. 

> The Ministry of Railways shared that a pair of new Vande Bharat trains were flagged off this morning. 

Train no. 22447 Amb Andaura–New Delhi Vande Bharat Express will depart from its source at 1 PM, and will reach New Delhi at 6:25 PM. 

Train no. 22448 New Delhi–Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express will depart from its source at 5:50 AM, and will reach Amb Andaura at 11:05 AM. 

Both these services will run everyday except on Wednesdays. 

> DRM Bengaluru will be running a single trip of a special train from Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam.

> The West Central Railway has launched a pair of special trains between Rewa and Rani Kamlapati. 

Train no. 02189 Rani Kamlapati–Rewa Diwali Special will depart from Rani Kamlapati at 10:15 PM on 21st October, and will reach Rewa at 7:20 AM the next day. 

Train no. 02190 Rewa–Rani Kamlapati Diwali Special will depart from Rewa at 6:50 PM on 22nd October, and will reach Rani Kamlapati at 4:30 AM the next day. 

> The South Central Railway notified about six special trains that are being run to connect various parts of the country
